Halo: The Master Chief Collection has an insane number of achievements

November 10, 2014 by Tom Powter

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is arriving soon, and with it, gamers will be able to relive Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, 3 and 4 – all remastered in HD and 60fps. With that package, comes an enormous chunk of gamerscore.

The game was already shipping with 400 achievements worth 4,000 gamerscore, but a day-one patch will introduce an additional 50, meaning the final total for gamerscore on The Master Chief Collection is a whopping 4,500.

Speaking about the new achievements, 343 said: “For this round of achievements, we wanted to focus on community and the new multiplayer features being offered by the new maps and modes within Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer.”

The new achievements span each of the four available games, both single-player and multi-player and they award the player for a number of different feats. One such example is the completion of the game on Legendary mode in under 3 hours, with an achievement available for each game.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is launching on November 11th, with some reviews already dropping.
