Henry Cavill continues tradition with Justice League gift

January 7, 2017 by Tai Freligh

Superman actor Henry Cavill is continuing his tradition of giving gifts to the film crews he works with, presenting a Justice League logo medallion to the crew, saying:

“It has been quite the battle shooting this movie, but I could imagine no better people to have struggled alongside. Thank you so much for your hard work, tenacity and great humour! See you next time, it has been an absolute pleasure!”

Nice little crew gift in the post today. Thank you Henry 🙂 #jl #justiceleague #thankyou #henrycavill #bts #crew @henrycavill

The British actor started the tradition of giving a challenge coin to crew members on the set of Man of Steel and continued it with Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

“Thank you so much for all of your hard work over such a long shoot,” Henry wrote to Man Of Steel cast and crew. “During shooting I discovered that the US military have a series of coins to commemorate each department and individual force within the military so I thought, considering the epic journey we all went through on such an iconic project, it only fair that we have our own coin too! This is just a little souvenir to keep and remember the satisfyingly hard work and the good times from start to finish.”

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg and opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
