Hideo Kojima partners up with Sony

December 16, 2015 by Villordsutch

Originally published December 16, 2015. Updated April 15, 2018.

After the numerous amounts of trials that Kojima has recently faced within the games industry due to the alleged actions of Konami, including recently refusing him entrance to the Games Awards to accept the award for Metal Gear Solid V, you’d believe he’d be wanting to steer clear from the games industry for some time.

Well not wanting to sit back and lick his wounds he’s taken it upon himself to start his own games company and signed up to collaborate with PlayStation.

Kojima also put out – onto Twitter – his official statement on when his contract ended with Konami.

Again this will be putting to bed any drawn out stories that Hideo Kojima was currently on holiday from Konami, which was the current tale after they denied any existence of a farewell party and its pictures, that where doing the rounds on Twitter; which were originally shared by journalist from The New Yorker Simon Parkin.

Hideo Kojima is the mastermind behind the Metal Gear series, along with numerous others he also brought to the PS4 P.T. (Silent Hills) before it was cruelly taken away from us when both Konami and Hideo Kojima went their separate ways.

What do you think of this partnership? Are you looking forward to seeing the future the games coming out of the Kojima/PlayStation stable?
