Hit anime Overlord comes to mobile with Lord of Nazarick

October 29, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan have announced the launch of Lord of Nazarick on Google Play and the App Store.  Based on the hugely popular anime Overlord, Lord of Nazarick is a turn-based roleplaying game that will have players following the story of Momonga, otherwise known as Ainz Ooal Gown.  Watch the new launch trailer below….

Lord of Nazarick follows Overlord’s story from Momonga’s first arrival into the world of his favourite MMORPG. Momonga had built up a mighty character with a mighty kingdom but when he logs in for the last time before the game is closed he suddenly finds himself transported into the avatar of his character, the Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown.

Players will be able to follow the Sorceror King’s journey from a brand new perspective and meet more than 50 characters from the anime, including his companions.  Plus, there will be more to arrive through regular updates.

Featuring:

  • All-new canon scenarios for players to fight through.
  • Over 50 characters from the anime to recruit, including guardians, pleiades and many more.
  • Build a party of fan-favourite characters and engage in strategic battles.
  • Characters will have 5 different classes and 3 unique attributes.
  • Enjoy different game modes – the Story, roguelite dungeons, boss challenges, mini-games and more.
  • Visit locations from the anime, including the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Carne Village, E-Rantel and more.
  • Join with friends and create a legendary alliance or just join an existing one.
  • PVP combat where players can compete to climb the leaderboard and earn rewards.

Lord of Nazarick is the first game to fully implement Crunchyroll Login, a new feature available to Crunchyroll Premium members. Just log in as the Crunchyroll Premium member and receive special rewards, such as in-game currency, a battle pass and more.

Lord of Nazarick is available on Google Play and the App Store now.  Look out for the new film OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom, coming to cinemas on 8th November.
