Horror survival game Agony gets a release date and trailer

April 20, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Maximum Games have revealed that their highly anticipated horror survival game Agony will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on 29th May.  Nightmarish creatures and a hellish landscape await those brave enough to venture into this twisted world.  A new teaser trailer has been released (see below) that showcases the scenery and horror.

Agony is a first person survival horror that takes players to the depths of hell where they must struggle to stay alive from the horrifying creatures that dwell there.  Whilst surviving hell players will need to solve the riddle behind the architect of this terrible place, the mysterious Red Goddess.  Only by meeting this mysterious figure will escape become possible.

Beginning the journey as a tormented soul players will need to explore the underworld in the search for the Red Goddess, as they progress they will gain the ability to possess other souls and even the more simple minded demons that call hell their home.

Since Agony was first announced it has featured on several ‘Most Anticipated Horror Games 2018’ lists and is set to be one of the premiere horror titles of the year.

Agony will be released this May on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
