Iron Fist’s Jessica Henwick joins Dylan O’Brien in Monster Problems

April 7, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Following on from last week’s casting of Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy), THR is reporting that Iron Fist actress Jessica Henwick has joined Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) in the cast of the post-apocalyptic sci-fi Monster Problems.

The film is being directed by Michael Matthews (Five Fingers for Marseilles), with Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps producing, and is described as “a coming-of-age story about a young man (O’Brien) living in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monsters.” He will set off on a journey through a hostile environment to find the girl of his dreams, played by Henwick.

Henwick portrayed Colleen Wing in Marvel’s Iron Fist and The Defenders, while her other credits include Game of Thrones and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She is currently shooting another monster movie, Legendary’s Godzilla vs. Kong, which like Monster Problems is slated for release in 2020.
