Is Arrow set to become Green Arrow in season four?

February 5, 2015 by admin

Warning – there be spoilers ahead

Since it first came to the airwaves, the Arrow showrunners have always said that the show is about Oliver Queen’s journey to becoming the infamous Green Arrow. Starting off as a brash teenager during his early days on the island, to returning to Starling City as the vigilante, to the hood, to the current Arrow. But will we ever see him go by the name Green Arrow?

Stephen Amell has been discussing what life will be like for Oliver Queen when he returns to Starling City following his defeat at the hands of Ra’s al Ghul at the end of the season 3 mid-season break.

“[Oliver] comes back [to Starling City] having been humbled, which is an important lesson for anybody,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “[The fight] was not even that close.  This will make perfect sense when you see season four, but the Arrow persona, the vigilante, the hood — that’s a flawed persona.  We saw it be flawed. We saw him lose. There has to be something more. We’ll see that eventually.”
