Jacob’s Ladder remake pulled from February release

January 5, 2019 by Gary Collinson

This may come as little surprise given that we’ve seen absolutely nothing in the way of marketing for the movie, but distributor LD Entertainment has revealed that its modern-day reimagining of the 1990 psychological horror thriller Jacob’s Ladder has been pulled from its February 1st release date.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the film – which is directed by David M. Rosenthal and stars Michael Ealy (Underworld: Awakening), Guy Burnet (Ray Donovan), Karla Souza (How to Get Away With Murder) and Nicole Beharie (Sleepy Hollow) – is currently without a date, although it is expected that it will arrive at some point in 2019.

The original Jacob’s Ladder was directed by Adrian Lyne and saw Tim Robbins portraying a Vietnam veteran experiencing strange visions and hallucinations who is looking to discover the truth about his past.
