Back in September it was announced that Liam Neeson has signed on to star in The Commuter, a new thriller from Unknown and Non-Stop producers Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman, and now it has been announced that Jaume Collet-Serra, director of the two aforementioned movies, has joined the reunion.
The Commuter will see Neeson as “a businessman on his daily commute home, who unwittingly gets caught up in a criminal conspiracy. It threatens not only his life but the lives of those around him.”
Collet-Serra is currently in post-production on his latest thriller In the Shallows, while Neeson will next be seen in Martin Scorsese’s passion project Silence, which is slated for release later this year.
