Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie have started writing Flight of the Conchords movie

August 18, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Yesterday we brought you some news from Jemaine Clement about a possible sequel and spinoff TV series for the excellent vampire comedy What We Do In the Shadows, and now Clement has revealed to Indiewire that he and Bret McKenzie have started penning a script for a Flight of the Conchords movie.

“We have actually started writing [a movie]. But who knows if it will ever be made, we’ve written some notes for some different film ideas. We’re not down to the stage where we’re going, ‘The film is going to be like this,’ it could be this, this, this, this, this.”

Clement’s new movie People Places Things opened in the States on Friday.
