Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton is set to make his grand return this month in Avengers: Endgame, after which he’ll be heading to the small screen to lead a new Hawkeye TV series for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service.
According to Variety, the Marvel Studios-produced series will see Renner’s Hawkeye training up his successor Kate Bishop, who in the comic books assumes the Hawkeye identity, and is also a member of Young Avengers.
The Hawkeye series joins fellow Marvel shows Loki, The Vision and Scarlet Witch and Falcon and the Winter Soldier as part of Disney+’s slate, while other rumoured – and unconfirmed – projects include Rocket Raccoon and Groot, Lady Sif, Wolverine, and an animated What If? series.
