February 6, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has shared a trailer, poster and images for Toxic Town, the upcoming drama series inspired by a UK environmental scandal which sees a group mothers fight for justice, looking to hold accountable those responsible for the dozens of babies born with disabilities which they believe is caused by poor toxic waste management in their town.

The cast includes Jodie Whittaker, Aimee Lou Wood,  Claudia Jessie, Robert Carlyle, Brendan Coyle, Rory Kinnear, Stephen McMillan, Lauren Lyle, Joe Dempsie, Michael Socha, and Karla Crome. Watch the trailer below…

Based on one of the UK’s biggest environmental scandals, Toxic Town is the story of the people at the heart of the Corby poisonings. Focusing on the mothers, who took on a David and Goliath battle for justice, the series traces through the years of their fight as a terrible truth comes to the surface.

Toxic Town arrives on Netflix on February 27th.
