John Cena and Idris Elba are Heads of State in trailer for Prime Video action comedy

Prime Video has released the first trailer and a poster for Heads of State, the upcoming action comedy from director Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry, Nobody).

The film reunites Suicide Squad stars Idris Elba and John Cena who play the UK Prime Minister and US President and follows the politicians as they are forced to put aside their public rivalry and work together to thwart a global conspiracy that threatens the free world with the help of MI6 agent Noel (Priyanka Chopra Jonas). 

Along with Idris Elba, John Cena and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the cast also includes Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle and Paddy Considine. Check out the trailer below…

The UK Prime Minister (Idris Elba) and US President (John Cena) have a public rivalry that risks their countries’ alliance. But when they become targets of a powerful enemy, they’re forced to rely on each other as they go on a wild, multinational run. Allied with Noel, a brilliant MI6 agent (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), they must find a way to thwart a conspiracy that threatens the free world.

Heads of State arrives on Prime Video on July 2nd.
