John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan film adds several cast members

February 14, 2025 by Ricky Church

The feature film continuation of Amazon’s Jack Ryan series has added several new cast members to star alongside John Krasinski as Deadline reports Max Beesley (The Gentlemen), Douglas Hodge (The Great), JJ Feild (Ford v Ferrari) have joined the film with Betty Gabriel also returning from the series.

The film continues Amazon’s Jack Ryan series, which ran for four seasons and was based on Tom Clancy’s novel political and espionage thriller series of novels. It follows CIA analyst Jack Ryan who has to stop various threats to the nation or uncover conspiracies within the US government. Jack Ryan was one of Amazon Prime’s most streamed shows worldwide throughout its run.

Krasinski played Ryan in the series and starred opposite Wendell Pierce as seasoned CIA officer James Greer and Michael Kelly as CIA station chief Mike November. Both Pierce and Kelly are also returning for the film. Gabriel joined the series in its third season as Elizabeth Wright, the CIA’s station chief in Rome who later became the CIA director.

Beesley, Hodge and Feild join fellow newcomer Siena Miller in the film. The details on their characters are being kept under wraps, but Miller is said to be an MI6 operative who will work with Ryan. It is unknown if any other cast members from the series will return for the film.

Andrew Bernstein, the executive producer and director of season two, is directing the feature. Aaron Rabin, who served as a co-executive producer and writer on season four, penned the script. Paramount Pictures and Skydance are producing. Krasinski is also producing under his production banner Sunday Night with Allyson Seeger.
