Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell take to the skies in trailer for Korean War drama Devotion

August 2, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Sony Pictures has released a new poster and trailer for Devotion, the upcoming Korean war epic based on Adam Makos’ bestselling book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice.

Directed by J.D. Dillard, the film tells the story of elite US Navy fighter pilots – Jesse L. Brown (Jonathan Majors) and Tom Hudner (Glen Powell), and the heroic sacrifice they made which would ultimately make them two of the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

DEVOTION tells the incredible true story of Jesse L. Brown (Jonathan Majors – The Harder They Fall, Da Five Bloods) a pioneering Black naval aviator, and the friendship he forged with his squadron teammate Tom Hudner (Glen Powell – Top Gun: Maverick, Hidden Figures) during the Korean War. Pushed to their limits to become elite fighter pilots, their heroic sacrifices would ultimately make them the U.S. Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

Devotion also stars Christina Jackson, Thomas Sadoski, Joe Jonas, Daren Kagasoff, Nick Hargrove, and Spencer Neville.

Devotion arrives in cinemas on November 23rd.
