MUBI has shared a poster and trailer for writer-director Kelly Reichardt’s 1970s-set crime drama The Mastermind.
Josh O’Connor stars as JB, an unemployed carpenter who steals four paintings from a museum with the help of two cohorts, but his life begins to unravel when he discovers keeping a hold of the paintings is a lot harder than stealing them.
Joining O’Connor in the cast are Alana Haim, Gabby Hoffman, John Magaro, Hope Davis, and Bill Camp. Watch the trailer below…
