Journey For Elysium gets a new gameplay trailer

July 30, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Cronos Interactive and developer Mantis Games have released a new gameplay trailer for their VR title, Journey For Elysium.  This latest trailer takes players into the dark underworld of Greek mythology.  Enjoy the trailer below….

Taking place in a monochromatic black and white environment, Journey For Elysium is a story driven puzzle adventure following the journey of a Greek hero who has died and must travel through the underworld to get to the fabled Elysium and seek redemption.  If our hero is to get his redemption then players must journey by boat through increasingly difficult challenges.

Journey For Elysium features:

  • Increasingly challenging puzzles to complete in order to progress.
  • A rich world to explore with breathtaking environments and filled with facts about the history and myth of the Greek underworld.
  • Use an innovating rowing mechanic to explore the underworld on the River Styx.
  • Two modes of moving around when not rowing, these are Comfort and Immersive modes.
  • A monochromatic art style inspired by the paintings of Gustave Doré with golden highlights scattered around to guide players on their journey.

Journey For Elysium will release later this year and will be available on Steam for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift VR systems.
