With Justice League’s box office run winding down, the latest chapter of the DC Extended Universe has managed to reach a new box office milestone this weekend, having passed the $650 million mark worldwide.
By close of play today, Justice League sits on $652.6 million with $225.6 million domestically, and a further $427 million from international markets.
It remains the lowest grossing instalment of the DCEU behind 2013’s Man of Steel on $668.0 million, although by passing $650 million, it has reached the target that was originally reported to be the break even point for the DC team-up, given its $300 million production budget plus expensive marketing costs.
