Justice League reshoots changed almost every Cyborg scene says Ray Fisher

November 3, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Ray Fisher, the actor behind the DCEU’s Cyborg, says the Justice League reshoots changed almost every single scene he was in.

The behind the scenes saga of the Justice League seems to go and on with actor Ray Fisher calling attention to the incredible changes made to Zack Snyder’s film by replacement director Joss Whedon.

Fisher clearly isn’t a fan of Whedon and now the actor has revealed that virtually no Cyborg scene was left untouched during Whedon’s reshoots. Speaking with Geek House Show (via Snyderspecific on Twitter), the actor said:

“What I can tell you for my character and what you saw in the theatrical version, that every single scene, with the exception of the Gotham City police rooftop scene with Commissioner Gordon, and Batman, and Flash and all that, every single scene that I think that I’m in was reshot. I reshot almost the entire film.”

Fans of Cyborg will certainly hope that the actor receives a little justice of his own when the Synder Cut is released in 2021. Hopefully, the HBO Max project is a better representative of Snyder’s original vision.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and features Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke, and Ray Porter as Darkseid.
