Kellan Lutz has met with McG about the Masters of the Universe movie

June 25, 2016 by Gary Collinson

It’s been stuck in development hell for a few years now, but back in January it was announced that Charlie’s Angels, Terminator Salvation helmer McG had signed on to direct Sony’s Masters of the Universe movie, and now it looks like we may be close to some casting.

Posting on Twitter, Twilight and The Legend of Hercules star Kellan Lutz has revealed that he’s met with McG about the movie, and you’d have to assume it was for the role of He-Man.

Hey @HeManTheMovie and all MOTU fans,

Had an amazing meeting with @McGsWonderland and @ItsMaryViola talking MOTU!

ITS IN GREAT HANDS! 💪⚔

— Kellan Lutz (@kellanlutz) June 24, 2016

In a reply to the tweet, some fan art was also posted showing Lutz as He-Man:

Would you be happy with Lutz’s casting as He-Man, and if not, who would you like to see in the role? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
