Kerry Washington responds to Deadpool 2 casting rumours

February 21, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Originally published February 21, 2017. Updated April 16, 2018.

Rumors have been running wild for Deadpool 2 lately, suggesting that Pierce Brosnan will play Cable, while Kerry Washington is the number one choice for the role of Domino.

At the 2017 Writers Guild Awards, Kerry Washington was asked by ExtraTV about the role, replying “I don’t have anything to say about that! [The Deadpool 2 writers] know more than I do. Of course I would [want the part]! But you have to get the right person for whatever role.”

Keep in mind it’s very well possible that Kerry is casually denying the casting rumors as she is not allowed to speak on such matters yet, considering there has been no official announcement made regarding the role.

Nevertheless, let us know if you would like to see Kerry Washington play Domino in Deadpool 2 in the comments below…
