Kiersey Clemons cast in The Flash alongside Ezra Miller

July 25, 2016 by Ricky Church

Rumours circled around actress Kiersey Clemons this past month, but Variety has now confirmed the Dope and Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising star has now been cast in a lead role in The Flash film.

This will mark the second time Clemons has worked with Flash director Rick Famuyiwa, who directed her in Dope. While Variety doesn’t state who Clemons will play, it is very likely she’s been cast as reporter Iris West, who also happens to be Barry Allen’s friend and love interest.

Famuyiwa will direct with a script written by former Flash director Seth Grahame-Smith, who worked off a treatment by Chris Miller and Phil Lord. So far Ezra Miller and Kiersey Clemons are the only known cast members, but its also been rumoured Ray Fisher’s Cyborg will play a role in the film as well. The Flash races to theaters on March 16, 2018.
