Kritika Online arrives on Steam today, free update available

September 28, 2017 by Andrew Newton

En Masse Entertainment have announced the release of the free Fractured Memories update for their fast paced anime style brawler, Kritika Online, which is now also available via Steam.  This latest update adds a randomised dungeon system, additional stages for high level characters, and quality of life improvements.  En Masse Entertainment have celebrated the expansion of the game’s availability on Steam with a new trailer which can be seen below…

This latest update introduces the Fractured Memories dungeon which creates an entirely unique gaming experience with every playthrough for players level 15 and up.  Each time this dungeon is entered there will be changes to map layouts, enemy variety and placement, difficulty levels and rewards so players will never venture into the same dungeon twice.  Those who complete this dungeon won’t only earn experience points and gear but also earn ability points that can be used to unlock account-wide buffs such as reduced cooldowns, increased gold drops and increased damage when attacking from the rear.

Fractured Memories will allow players with sufficiently high enough level to continue the fight in the Xanadu quest hub with the introduction of four new stages: Sentinel’s Way, Azure Tiger Shrine, Luciana’s Garden and Luciana’s Pavilion.  These new stages will allow players to earn more gear and gear evolutions.

“We’ve had a great beta phase for Kritika Online and are grateful to all of our dedicated fans who provided so much valuable feedback and shared their enthusiasm for the game with us,” said Kritika Online Product Manager Brian Knox, “With today’s Steam launch and Fractured Memories update, we’re thrilled to leave our beta tag behind and move forward to the next chapter for Kritika Online. We have a lot of great content and a fantastic community that we can’t wait to introduce to our new players on Steam, and plenty of exciting updates on the horizon that we can’t wait to release to our fans!”
