LEGO Sonic Mania – Green Hill Zone set achieves 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas

March 15, 2020 by Gary Collinson

The LEGO Group recently announced its upcoming LEGO Super Mario theme, and the Nintendo mascot may soon be joined by another iconic video game character in SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog, with toastergrl’s Sonic Mania – Green Hill Zone concept achieving the necessary 10,000 supports on LEGO Ideas to make it through to the Review Stage in the hopes of becoming an official set.

Based on 2017’s Sonic Mania video game, the set includes a Classic Sonic the Hedgehog minifigure, Dr. Eggman brick-built figure and Egg Robot mech, and “Palm Tree”, “Spring”, “Bridge and “Loop” modules as seen in the video game’s Green Hill Zone world, and an alternate ‘Encore mode” build.

You can find more information and images on toastergrl’s LEGO Sonic Mania – Green Hill Zone set on the official LEGO Ideas page here.
