Although Leonardo DiCaprio announced that he was taking a hiatus from acting, this may have been a lie. With DiCaprio attaching himself to numerous projects, he has now been approached to produce and star in an adaptation of Scandinavian crime author Jo Nesbo’s Blood in the Snow.
Blood in the Snow will star Leonardo DiCaprio as a man tasked with killing his employer’s wife only to fall in love with her. DiCaprio is a chameleon of an actor and could frankly play anyone and to see him star in a Jo Nesbo adaptation may show a grittier and slightly dirtier side than we usually see.
No words on whether Blood in the Snow has an official green light just yet but it can assumed that a 2015 release has been pencilled in.
