Machete Kills Again… In Space! shooting this year, according to Danny Trejo

April 3, 2015 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo are set to round out their Machete trilogy, with Trejo revealing at the Mad Monster convention in Charlotte, NC that he’s set to reprise the role of the ex-Federale for Machete Kills Again… In Space!.

“Robert and I are going to start to do Machete Kills In Space, so that’s going to be awesome,” Trejo told Halloween Daily News. “Absolutely. We’re going to be working on it this year.”

Starting life as a faux trailer in Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse in 2007, the first Machete was released in 2010, and was followed by a sequel Machete Kills in 2013, which just so happened to end with a teaser for …in Space!; check it out here…
