Whovians hoping to see more of Maisie Williams in the next series of Doctor Who will be disappointed to hear that the Game of Thrones actress won’t be returning to the iconic British sci-fi show.
“Everyone’s hyping about it, which is very exciting, but I guess that’s more of a publicity thing,” states Williams (via NME). “But no, I’m not going to return, I have a lot of other really exciting projects lined up instead.”
Doctor Who is taking a break until 2017, but Williams will be back on the small screen next month when she returns as Arya Stark for the sixth season of Game of Thrones.
