Marc Guggenheim keen to see Green Lantern in Justice League

May 4, 2014 by Gary Collinson

With Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) all set to feature in Warner Bros.’ Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman, there’s still a few slots to fill in the roster for the recently announced DC superhero ensemble Justice League.

We have of course already seen one other Justice League regular on the big screen in recent years, with Ryan Reynolds portraying Hal Jordan in 2011’s Green Lantern, and during a promotional interview with IGN, GL co-writer and current Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim was asked if he’d like to see the Emerald Knight included in the roster of the big DC team-up:

“I would love it. At the end of the day, I just want to see a great Justice League movie. I think they’re putting a lot of really cool pieces into play with the first two Superman movies and I’m basically a sucker for a great comic book movie. As long as they’re doing something awesome, I’ll be the first one in line.”

You’d have to assume that Green Lantern will feature as part of the Justice League line-up, but would you like to see them going with Hal Jordan (and perhaps even Ryan Reynolds returning), or another incarnation? Let us know your thoughts…
