Last month it was announced that Marvel’s First Family are set for a return to the Marvel comic book universe with a brand new Fantastic Four series from Dan Slott (Amazing Spider-Man) and Sara Pichelli (Spider-Man: Miles Morales). And now, we’ve got a look at the cover to August’s first issue, as well as a teaser trailer which celebrates the Fantastic Four, offering a view into their past and a look towards the future, from their debut in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s classic 1961 issue to their much-anticipated return

As well as returning to the pages of the comic book universe, the Fantastic Four – and the X-Men – are potentially heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with The Walt Disney Company currently working on a deal to acquire 20th Century Fox’s feature film assets, which includes the big screen rights to the superhero characters.
