Marvel’s main Star Wars title to end with issue #75 in November

August 24, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Marvel Comics has announced that its main Star Wars title is set to come to an end this November with issue #75.

The Star Wars series launched back in January 2015 after Marvel reacquired the rights from Dark Horse Comics, with its first issue going on to sell over a million print copies – the only comic book to do so this century. Writer Greg Pak and artist Phil Noto currently serve as the book’s creative team.

With the series coming to an end, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra will be the only current ongoing Star Wars title at Marvel, although it’s certainly possible that the publisher could be planning to launch a new series to coincide with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the culmination of the Skywalker Saga.

The epic REBELS AND ROGUES storyline reaches its explosive end! Can THREEPIO save the rock people of K43? Is WARBA the master or the student? Which Champion falls? And how much of LUKE’S desperate plan has DARTH VADER foreseen from the beginning?

Star Wars #75 will go on sale in November 2020.
