Well GO USA has released a trailer for writer-director Yûdai Yamaguchi’s action comedy One-Percent Warrior.
The film stars Tak Sakaguchi as an aging action star who decides to make his own directorial debut, when he finds himself caught up in a chaotic battle of feuding yakuza gangs and is forced to use his martial arts training to keep himself alive as they infiltrate the set of his film.
After his devastatingly fast, samurai-style combat approach sets filmmakers against him, a legendary action star (Tak Sakaguchi) films his own movie—on turf claimed by feuding yakuza gangs, including Japan’s deadliest martial arts assassin.
Joining Sakaguchi in the cast are Sho Aoyagi, Itsuji Itao, Kenjiro Ishimaru, and Keisuke Horibe.
One-Percent Warrior arrives on Blu-ray and digital on March 12th.
