Matt Reeves officially announces start of production on The Batman

January 28, 2020 by Ricky Church

After much anticipation, director Matt Reeves has officially announced over Twitter that The Batman has commenced production in London, with the filmmaker sharing an early look at the movie’s logo.

This new Batman film will be a separate instalment from DC’s previous iteration with Ben Affleck in the role. Like Christopher Nolan’s first Batman movie, it is set to explore the early days of the Dark Knight’s crime fighting career and will feature several villains from Batman’s rogue gallery.

Gil Colson, and Jayme Lawson (Farewell Armor) as Bella Real.

The Batman will be released June 25th, 2021.
