Matthew Vaughn to produce sci-fi action film Courage

November 30, 2017 by Matt Rodgers

According to Deadline, Matthew Vaughn is to follow Kingsman: The Golden Circle by producing, and possibly directing a science-fiction script written by Stranger Things exec producer Karl Gajdusek.

Titled Courage, the only details revealed were that “it’s an epic premise, a drama in the vein of Inception and Edge of Tomorrow.”

Vaughn will produce the movie under his Marv Films banner, alongside former HBO exec Michael Ellenberg, who’s responsible for the likes of Westworld, Big Little Lies, The Leftovers, True Detective, and The Young Pope. Courage will be released by 20th Century Fox, who purchased the script earlier in this year.

Do you agree that it’s time for Vaughn to tackle something detached from his usual heightened fare, or would you be happy to see his Flash Gordon reboot get off the ground?
