Pacific Rim actor Max Martini joins Michael Bay’s 13 Hours

February 17, 2015 by James Garcia

Michael Bay’s next film, which is thankfully not another Transformers entry but a Benghazi thriller called 13 Hours, has gained another cast member.

According to Variety, Pacific Rim and Fifty Shades of Grey alum Max Martini has joined the film as a member of “the six-man security team that fought to defend the many Americans stationed at the compound.”

Martini joins previous casting additions John Krasinski (The Office), James Badge Dale (Iron Man 3) and Pablo Schreiber (Orange is the New Black).

Written by Chuck Hogan and based on the book Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi, the film is being directed by Bay and heads into production this spring.
