Medieval city builder Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt arrives on PC in February

January 28, 2019 by Andrew Newton

There’s good news for fans of city building games and loyal Townsmen players as HandyGames has announced that Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt will be arriving on PC on 26th February, not only that but it will be completely free for owners of 2016’s original Townsmen.

Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt is an improved and remastered version of the original game and is packed to the rafters with lots of content.  Players who try their hand at city building will be able to try over 20 maps in sandbox mode or challenge themselves in 26 scenarios, and the six mission long tutorial will provide all the skills to build, build, build!

From a small humble shack in the middle of a field to a city with towering monuments, Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt will encourage players to make their village thrive with the 150+ buildings and objects to construct, including jousting fields, taverns, marketplaces and farms.  Though just like medieval cities in the real world, be prepared to deal with huge fires and outbreak of plagues.

The game features:

  • City building gameplay set in medieval times.
  • Inhabitants will have their own daily routines.
  • New voice over language for livelier interactions, created from Finnish & Volapük.
  • Complex economy sim and deep production chains.
  • Over 150 different town and production buildings.
  • Optional military feature with soldiers and bandits.
  • Seasons and weather effects that directly impact gameplay.
  • Devastating disasters such as fire, disease, drought and many more.
  • 26 diverse scenarios and challenging tasks.
  • Unrestricted sandbox gameplay on 24 maps.

Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt will be available on 26th February on PC, priced £16.99 / €19.99 / $19.99.
