Megan Fox to star in Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up spin-off?

March 17, 2011 by admin

Megan Fox is reportedly in line to take a role in Judd Apatow’s follow-up to Knocked Up. The as-yet untitled spin-off to the 2007 comedy hit will see Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann return as the slightly crazed pairing of Pete and Debbie. Meanwhile Deadline are also reporting that Albert Brooks is set to join the cast and will take on the part of Rudd’s father.

No role has been outlined for Fox as of yet but Apatow should have the nous to pull the best from her and play to her strengths. The actress will perhaps be looking for a quality role after the muddled and rubbish Jonah Hex, the epic and bloated crap-athon that was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and the underwhelming reception for Jennifer’s Body and Passion Play.

So far details are sparse about the project apart from the fact that Universal Pictures will be handling distribution and Apatow will be occupying the director’s chair for the first time since 2009’s Funny People.
