Metal Max Xeno now available on Playstation 4

September 26, 2018 by Andrew Newton

NIS America have announced the release of the classic combat title Metal Max Xeno exclusively for the Playstation 4.  Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Metal Max Xeno goes “back to basics” with the classic human/tank hybrid storyline and combat.  To celebrate the game’s anniversary, NIS America have released a launch trailer and a music video of the game’s ending theme.  You can see both of these below…

In Metal Max Xeno humanity is on the brink of extinction thanks to the sentient computer known as NOA who has deemed humans a waste of time.  NOA’s destruction has even reached the metropolis of Tokio, reducing it to ruins.  Players will take the role of Talis, one of the survivors of NOA’s devastation, as he explores the wastes to seek out allies and get his revenge against the machines.

Metal Max Xeno features:

  • Style Your Tanks – Explore the wastes, salvage new tanks and upgrade them using hundreds of parts.  Customise tanks with new paint jobs and kit them out with the strongest firepower.
  • Fight for Humanity – The world has been devastated by a sentient computer in its plan to eradicate humankind.  Explore a vast game world and join up with the remaining survivors to get revenge on the crazed machines and deadly mutants.
  • Hold Your Ground – NOA’s forces are excellent trackers so make a preemptive strike from inside the tank when the enemies appear, or disembark and explore dangerous strongholds on foot with your allies.

Metal Max Xeno is available for Playstation 4 now.
