Michael Angarano and Michael Cera take a road trip in Sacramento trailer

Vertical has released a trailer, poster and images for Sacramento, the comedy drama from writer-director and actor Michael Angarano.

The film follows Rickey (Angarano), a free-spirited man with a Peter Pan complex who is grieving the death of his father when he asks his long-time friend Glenn (Michael Cera) to go on an impromptu road trip to reconnect, forcing the two to address to issues in their lives.

Also featuring in the cast alongside Angarano and Cera are Maya Erskine and Kristen Stewart. Check out the trailer below…

Following the death of his father, energetic and free-spirited Rickey (Michael Angarano) convinces long-time friend Glenn (Michael Cera) to go on an impromptu road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento. Frustrated by Rickey’s Peter Pan complex, Glenn is encouraged by his pregnant wife Rosie (Kristen Stewart) to go on the adventure to reconnect. In the worn yellow seats of Glenn’s old college convertible, the two men confront their anxiety-ridden lives, addressing past mistakes and questioning what their futures hold. 

Sacramento arrives in cinemas on April 11th.
