Digital Eclipse will be releasing a physical edition of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind for Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5 on 30th May. This physical edition will be available as a standard or collector’s editions with the latter featuring an assortment of goodies for fans. Both are available to pre-order now from participating retailers.
The upcoming physical editions of Digital Eclipse’s love letter to 90’s arcade gaming and the Power Rangers will be the standard edition, retailing for £34.99/$34.99/39.99€, and the collector’s edition which will be priced at £49.99/$49.99/€54.99. The collector’s edition will include a special retail box and cover plus a special steelbook, a poster, a 3D lenticular postcard and individual pixel art collectible Power Rangers cards.
With Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, players will embark on a side-scrolling beat em’ up mission to defeat the villainous Rita Repulsa. Players get to fight their way through Robo Rita’s army of Putty Patrollers, General Goldar and other villains from across the Power Rangers franchise.
There are exciting high-energy adventures to be had as players take part in side-scrolling combat, exhilarating 3D sequences and multiplayer Megazord battles with their handcrafted pixel art Power Rangers to a guitar-driven soundtrack.
