Mila Kunis and Daryl McCormack become the latest to join Wake Up Dead Man

May 31, 2024 by Ricky Church

Another day, another new casting announcement for Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man. The latest actors to join Johnson’s Benoit Blanc mystery series are Mila Kunis (Bad Moms) and Daryl McCormack (Good Luck To You, Leo Grande).

Kunis and McCormack feature alongside Daniel Craig reprising his role as Benoit Blanc and newcomers Josh O’Connor (Challengers), Cailee Spaeney (Civil War), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Andrew Scott (Ripley), Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction) and Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Endgame). There is no word on the film’s plot or who any of the new cast members might play.

Johnson released an announcement teaser a few days ago which was narrated by Craig’s Blanc, stating it would be his most dangerous case yet so we can expect, as was the case with Knives Out and its sequel Glass Onion, more twists and turns from its star studded cast.

This will mark Kunis’ first production in a couple of years after last starring in Luckiest Girl Alive while McCormack will be seen later this summer in the sequel Twisters.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery heads into production next month in the UK and will be released some time in 2025.
