Millie Bobby Brown cast as Sherlock’s sister Enola Holmes in film series

January 10, 2018 by Ricky Church

After her stunning performance in Netflix’s Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown is set to star in a film series based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries book, which explore the adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister Enola. Per Deadline, Brown will also produce through her company PCMA Productions.

The novels followed Enola, Sherlock’s teenage sister, as she attempts to carve her own career as a detective, proving herself a highly capable and intelligent sleuth as well. The series spanned six books, the first being The Case of the Missing Marquees. This book and the fifth book, The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline, earned Sprinder nominations for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010.

Overseeing the project for Legendary Pictures are Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes. Brown is also set to appear in Legendary’s Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
