Way back in March 2015 it was announced that Universal Pictures had picked up the rights to Mark Millar and Sean Gordon Murphy’s Chrononauts comic book series, and now it looks like we may finally have some movement on the big screen adaptation.
Deadline is reporting that playwright and screenwriter Philip Gawthorne has signed on to pen the script for the movie, which is being produced by Chris Morgan (The Fate of the Furious). Gawthawne’s credits include Lionsgate’s planned Cube remake, STX’s Black Hole, Warner Bros.’ World Breaker, and the Kojak script which has Vin Diesel attached.
