Mushroom Crusher Extreme leaving Early Access this week

May 7, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Mushroom Party and Team Jolly Roger have announced that their retro styled arcade-action game Mushroom Crusher Extreme will be leaving Early Access for a full release on Steam on 10th May.  The full release will contain all the features players have come to love plus much more and plenty of bug fixes to boot.  A new trailer has been released to accompany the announcement and can be seen below.

In Mushroom Crusher Extreme players take control of Zenon, a mage with elemental magic.  When Zenon’s  small archipelago home gets invaded by masses of dangerous giant Shrooms he sets out on a mission to destroy them with his elemental magic before they can cause too much damage.

Along with retro visuals and old-school gameplay, the game features:

  • A large arsenal of elemental magic and status-enhancing Trinkets to customise the powers.
  • Battle more than 15 different types of vicious Shrooms.
  • Many challenging, beautifully handcrafted levels to complette.
  • Collect spores to redeem rewards, unlock more spells, levels and more.
  • Summon the help of a friend in the online or local co-op modes.

Mushroom Crusher Extreme will leave Steam Early Access on 10th May and will be available with a generous discount during launch week.
