Netflix announces Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous animated series with teaser trailer

June 4, 2019 by Ricky Church

Netflix and Dreamworks Animation will be teaming up for Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, an animated series that is set within the continuity of the first Jurassic World film. Watch the teaser trailer below…

Taking place concurrently to Colin Trevorrow’s 2015 mega-hit, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous “follows a group of teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. Of course, the dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island, leaving the campers stranded. Unable to reach the outside world, they’ll need to go from strangers to friends to family if they’re going to survive.”

Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny) will showrun and executive produce the series. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Colin Trevorrow will also executive produce with Zack Stentz serving as a consulting producer.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will air on Netflix sometime in 2020.
