New DLC available for Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream

July 25, 2025 by Andrew Newton

The new DLC, Symphony of a Dazzling Dawn, is now available for Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, bringing players lots of new content including a new scenario, more playable characters, their weapons and costumes.  Meet these two new characters in the new traielrs below…

The new scenario arriving with the Symphony of a Dazzling Dawn DLC has players join Kirito, Asuna, Eugeo, and the others in investigating the forest. When Alice comes across a strange piece of junk data, she unexpectedly turns into a Cat Knight avatar. Although confused by the strange change, she soon becomes accustomed to her new abilities. Soon after, the group come across Fuscus the Vacant Colossus, a powerful boss fighting against Asuna’s old friend, the scythe-wielding Mito.

As you can probably guess, Cat Knight Alice and Mito are the two new characters available for players to add to their team. Cat Knight Alice will expand the Mage roster and Mito is another to add to the fighter class. Both of these new characters will come with their own unique weapons and an alternate costume.

The Symphony of a Dazzling Dawn DLC is available to purchase now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch. This new DLC will already be available for owners of the Character Pass 2.
