New shoot ’em up Dark Gravity announced for PC

December 28, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Polish indie developer Korgorus has announced their new shoot ’em up Dark Gravity.  Scheduled to release on Steam later in 2020 (and planned for Nintendo Switch at some point in the future), Dark Gravity has been inspired by the classic Japanese shooters of yesteryear such as Radiant Silvergun or Ikaruga.  A new trailer can be seen below…

Set in a grim future after a 5th world war (humans never learn), Dark Gravity puts players in the role of a pilot where they will follow a non-linear campaign mode filled with a large amount of enemies and terrifying big bosses.  Players will need to climb into the cockpit of one of 8 different fighter jets, shoot their way through 17 highly-diversified missions and take on 34 bosses.

Dark Gravity features:

  • Quick and intense gameplay.
  • Nonlinear campaign, intriguing history.
  • Stylish, low poly graphics.
  • 3 different difficulty levels.
  • Crafting and expansion of fighter jets.
  • 34 bosses.
  • An additional mode of survival.

“The difficulty level will be very important – the game at the highest level will be significantly different from the normal level. The higher the level, the more the challenges, new enemies, new bosses and additional secrets. Importantly, there are also big differences concerning the fighter jets. Each of them will have its own unique character and the weaponry can be adapted to your own preferences. All this will additionally increase the life of Dark Gravity” adds Rafał Szewczyk.

Look out for Dark Gravity coming to Steam for PC towards the end of 2020.
