New trailer for Nightmarchers introduces Kū – God of War

January 16, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Wyrmbyte Studios have released a new series of videos for their open world, post apocalyptic RPG shooter, Nightmarchers, that showcase the Akua, the ancient gods of Hawaii.  The first video in this series introduces Kū, the God of War, and we have it for you below…

Although most people associate Kū with war and politics, blood and sacrifice he is also the father and farmer who cultivated the island and he is legend among his believers for sacrificing himself during a great famine.  In Nightmarchers Kū will gift Kai with abilities that will help him defeat the Kamapua’a.

Nightmarchers is set in the post apocalyptic paradise of the Hawaiian island Oahu and will see players use the ancient magic of the gods to survive. As players explore the island they will come across other factions and not all of them friendly.  The most dangerous of these factions are those owned by the Pig God’s raiders and it is up to the player to clear these particular occupants out using the powers of the spirit world, or if you prefer, good old fashioned guns and grenades.

Look out for more videos in the Akua spotlight series.

This is the first in a series of videos we are creating to help showcase who some of the gods are in Nightmarchers and what is their role.
