Nicolas Cage biblical horror The Carpenter’s Son gets a new teaser trailer

September 21, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Magnolia Pictures has released a new teaser trailer for The Carpenter’s Son, the upcoming Biblical horror from writer-director Lofty Nathan, which is based on the Infancy Gospel of Thomas and sees Nicolas Cage leading the cast as a lowly carpenter who finds himself responsible for raising a boy with supernatural abilities.

Joining Nicolas Cage in the film are FKA Twigs, Noah Jupe, and Souheila Yacoub; check out the new trailer below…

“THE CARPENTER’S SON tells the dark story of a family hiding out in Roman Egypt. The son, known only as ‘the Boy,’ is driven to doubt by another mysterious child and rebels against his guardian, the Carpenter, revealing inherent powers and a fate beyond his comprehension. As he exercises his own power, the Boy and his family become the target of horrors, natural and divine.”

The Carpenter’s Son is coming soon from Magnolia Pictures.
