Oscar Isaac teases more scenes between Poe and Finn for Star Wars: Episode IX

March 20, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Oscar Isaac, one of the stars of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX, has teased that the film will see plenty of scenes between Poe and Finn.

One of the best character dynamics in Star Wars: The Force Awakens was between Oscar Isaac’s Poe and John Boyega’s Finn, with the two heroes hitting it off pretty instantly. While The Last Jedi saw the two apart for most of the film, with J.J Abrams back for Episode IX, that could be about to change.

According to Oscar Isaac in a recent interview with Metro, Episode IX will see the two characters share plenty of screen time together, a fact that the actor is very happy about: “I think the one thing I can say is that it has been the most fun for me, particularly working with John Boyega because we have just had so much more to do together and we just really connected in a great way. It was really a wonderful way to finish it for me because John was the first person I met right when I screen-tested. It was just with me and him. So it just felt like a real full-circle thing.”

Of course, we have no idea what Episode IX has in store for us right now in terms of story but fans of these two characters will surely be pleased that they will be seeing plenty of each other in the upcoming movie.
