Paramount Plus (via RottenTomatoes) has released the first clip from their Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off series Knuckles, which features Idris Elba’s echidna teaching a dog all about his ‘Steely Focus’.
Set between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 & 3, Knuckles sees Idris Elba and Adam Pally reprising their their roles as Knuckles and Wade, with special guest appearances from franchise stars Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey alongside a cast that includes Stockard Channing, Edi Patterson, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, Julian Barratt, Rory McCann, Cary Elwes, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel. The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.
